Monica Ahearn, Education Advocate

Monica Ahearn has spent her entire career advocating for children in both the private and public school settings. As a teacher, Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant, Principal and Director of Special Services, she has fought tirelessly for her students to receive the best education possible in the most appropriate settings.

Through her own LLC and her relationship with The New Jersey Coalition for Inclusive Education (NJCIE), Monica provides workshops to teachers, administrators and parents on how to meet the needs of all learners in every classroom, and the special education rights afforded to parents and children.

Monica believes that her philosophy of helping children and families fits perfectly with that of Manes and Weinberg, LLC, and has joined the firm as an Advocate to work with families who seek appropriate services for their children.

Monica lives in Monmouth County with her husband, son, two dogs and two cats. She loves to travel and visit her children in Rhode Island and Virginia, and especially loves spending time with her two grandchildren.
