Kathy Maughan grew up in South Africa and spent 22 years in London working in the service industry. She began her career in Hotel Management, and then moved to Business Center Management. In 2010 her husband’s job bought their family to the United States. They settled in New Jersey. Kathy was at home with her two girls during their younger years. Once they were a little older, she went to work as an aide in her school district. It was there where her experience in special education started. Kathy enjoys her role at Manes & Weinberg because it enables her to interact with clients and provide the compassion they need to navigate the situations that brought them to the firm. In 2023 Kathy moved with her family to Ireland and is so grateful to still be working for Manes & Weinberg remotely.
